Modesto is a nice place to visit, but more of a regular county office type location than a tourist attraction. Founded on an abandoned airfield, our campus has seen tremendous growth since opening its doors in 1969. Dissatisfied with the name american graffiti, producers francis ford coppola and ned tanen suggested that george lucas retitle it another slow night in modesto or rock around the block.
